I have a day job that spans strategic planning, regulation, compliance, and risk management.

♠️ I play poker against the market when I think I have an edge. I keep watchlists and canaries 🐤, small positions that chirp at me when a trade becomes interesting. When my hand is strong and conviction is high, I take concentrated positions.

My goal is to consistently beat the S&P 500 by a comfortable margin.

I write about what drew me to an investment, what made the price worth trading, how I managed the position, and what happened. That includes losses.
